GARDNER AND RICHMAN PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENTS AT NJR ENERGY SERVICES

Since 1997, Gardner has served as director – energy services. He originally joined NJR in 1983 and has held various positions with the company since then. As director – energy services he was responsible for business development, strategy, planning, external communication, overseeing credit and contract, volume accounting and software enhancements.
Gardner received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bates College in 1981. Upon graduation, he continued his education in the area of information systems.
“Rick has been a great contributor to the growth of our unregulated business,” said Joe Shields, senior vice president of energy services. “His efforts have helped NJRES to become a strong, reliable provider of wholesale energy services.”
Richman joined NJRES in 2003 as director – portfolio optimization. Prior to joining the company, she worked for El Paso Corporation in Houston as vice president – transportation. As director – portfolio optimization she is responsible for maintaining optimum performance of all portfolios managed by NJRES, overseeing the Transportation & Exchange group, and expanding the company’s presence in new market areas.
Richman received a BBA finance degree from the University of Houston – Downtown.
