NEW JERSEY NATURAL GAS CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF NEW ASBURY PARK BUSINESS OFFICE

ASBURY PARK, NJ – New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) celebrated the grand opening of its new office in Asbury Park today, marking its continued commitment to the city and the many customers who visit the office every month.
The office’s previous location, and the company’s original headquarters, was 601 Bangs Avenue. Customers can now visit 633 Lake Avenue to receive the same customer service in a newly-renovated space.
“New Jersey Natural Gas has a rich history in Asbury Park, and today we begin a new chapter,” said Laurence M. Downes, chairman and CEO of NJNG. “This move represents a change in address, only, not a change in our commitment to our customers or this community, which we proudly serve.”
Approximately 1,500 customers visit the Asbury Park business office each month to pay their bills and speak with customer service representatives. These same services will be available in the new location. Visitors are welcome to stop in the new office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Access is also available through an entrance at 658 Cookman Avenue.
